San Diego Board of Supervisors will be holding a hearing on the draft Final Climate Action Plan.  The Climate Action Plan (CAP) should  include measures and actions to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from the unincorporated County and by County Operations in proportion to the State's emission reduction goals. The Environmental Impact Report (EIR) provides a program-level analysis of the CAP, its measures, and related actions.

Join other hiking enthusiasts for a moderate pace night hike with over 1000' elevation gain.  We will be rewarded with panoramic, nighttime views of the beautiful city we live in, as well as silhouettes of all the mountain peaks around. 

Necessary gear: Headlamp or flashlight, good hiking shoes, water, layers for warmth including a rainjacket.

Join us in the land of famously bizarre Joshua Trees reaching for the sky! California's drought seems to be easing, so this year we will camp overnight to explore the promise of wildflowers that most of us may never have seen.

This is an overnight tent camping trip, and participants must provide their own meals and camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag etc).
