[SDCPJ] High school leafleters needed

It's time to reach students in our region with a message of peace and hope.

Budget cuts in education and wars raging overseas sends a clear message to students.

Recruiters fill their classrooms and halls reminding them of their slim chance to go to college

but the very real potential that they will go to a war zone.

San Diego area students have been working to increase access to higher education and reduce the effects of recruiters on campus.

Lets pass out flyers with information and resources they can use.

We will leaflet all over the county the week of April 26th

All we need is you!

*Please reply to this e-mail if you can give an hour one morning during the week of April 26th.

Let me know the school name or area of the county you can help out and I will work to connect you with a team of volunteers.

I hope to hear from you - Thanks for your support for San Diego's youth!

We will pass out flyers at a minimum of 2 schools.

Let me know if you are available next week.  Which days and at which schools.

If you have another school you want to do let me know and we'll see if we can get a team together.

If you haven't already contacted me with your availability please reply to this e-mail as soon as possible.

And thanks for the ultimate peace work - keeping young people from going off to do the business of war.

[SDCPJ] high school outreach in October

Students are working in their schools to challenge recruiters and the JROTC programs

in a struggle to get an academic, college bound education instead of military training.

They will be testifying and protesting at the Oct. 14th School board meeting for San Diego Unified.

Let's support them by leafleting the week of Oct. 20th &/or the week of Oct. 27th in front of schools in San Diego County.

We'd like to go to an East County school, a North County school, South Bay &/ Central San Diego.

Let me know what days you might be available

and what area of the county you'd like to leaflet

I'll get a team together for you to work with & coordinate with you.

Please reply to this e-mail with your preferences!

Thanks again for your work.
