Join U.S. Senator Kamala Harris and the ACLU of San Diego & Imperial Counties this Friday as San Diego kicks off a weekend of demonstrations against the Trump administration's brutal anti-immigrant agenda, including the president's widely-condemned child-family separation policy. Senator Harris is an outspoken critic of family separation and needs our help to bring a permanent end to this appalling abuse of power.

The Trump administration is misusing the power of our federal government to terrorize thousands of migrant families and children in an inhumane, ill-conceived effort to deter people from Latin American countries from coming to the United States. It is a cruel, immoral and unworkable immigration strategy; and it is contrary to our values as Californians and Americans.
This Friday, U.S. Senator Kamala Harris will visit the Otay Mesa Detention Facility to see firsthand the impacts of the Trump administration's "zero tolerance" approach to immigration enforcement, including the child-family separation policy that was temporarily suspended by executive order today.
