WHERE – San Diego County Administration Building
1600 Pacific Highway (Harbor side)
WHEN – 10am on Saturday, April 15th
On Saturday, April 15th, thousands of San Diegans will join millions more around the world to demand that President Trump release his tax returns! The people will rally at the San Diego County Administration building (1600 Pacific Highway on the Harbor Dr side of the building) and march to the San Diego Civic Center Plaza.
"We have seen an extreme lack of transparency when it comes to Trump's business dealings," William Johnson, a march organizer, explains "whether it is renting space to foreign governments in his towers, or scamming students, or to questions around his foreign business dealings with questionable foreign nationals. This Trump brand can now put our country at risk. We need to know who he deals with, now that it is a matter of national security. We must see his tax returns."
The Tax March Organizing Committee of San Diego will also present five tax demands representing the People's Priorities to local, state, and federal officials. The People's Priorities call for transparency from our officials, a shift of the federal tax burden away from the poorest Americans and onto wealthy and profitable corporations, as well as shifting our spending priorities away from endless war and incarceration, and into human services, schools, and infrastructure.
The Tax March Organizing Committee invites everyone to join us in calling for these demands. We need an economy and a tax structure that works fairly for the 99%, and not to support the richest 1%. Join us April 15th at 10am at the County Administration Building and raise your voice for a Fair Share Tax Structure.
