The Golden Rule Peaceship Presentation

Wednesday      January 13th  7 p.m.     

Come enjoy a presentation by Ron Kohl and Allen McAfee as they share their experience sailing on the Golden Rule Peaceship from San Diego to San Francisco this past September.

This 30 foot wooden Angelman Ketch set out in 1958 toward the restricted zone of the Marshall Islands. The object was to stop the testing of atomic bombs. Come learn about its voyage, the arrest of its crew, its inspiration of other actions, its sinking in 2010, its restoration by the Veterans for Peace and its current mission to create a nuclear free future.
