Grassroots planning discussions and activist workshops will include: Boycotts and Divestment For The Return; Palestinian Children's Rights Campaign; Student Summit with Community; and Educating Congress!
Plus come take part in a Debate on the proposed Palestine National Council Elections.
We have a list of exciting speakers that include: Alison Weir, President of the Council for the National Interest and Executive Director of If Americans Knew; Dr. Jamal Nassar, Dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at California State University, San Bernardino; Palestinian photojournalist Nayef Hashlamoun from Al-Watan Center in Al-Khalil (Hebron), Palestine; Dr. As'ad Daoud Hess-Linckost from the University of the District of Columbia; Dr. Jess Ghannam, National Chair of Al-Awda; Sherna Berger Gluck, statewide coordinator of the (California) Divestment Campaign; Dr. Ahlam Muhtaseb, professor of Communication Studies at California State University, San Bernardino; Lorain Rihan, Palestinian artist and activist; John Parker, West Coast Coordinator of the International Action Center; Jinane Abbadi, multidisciplinary artist; Larry Christian, long-time activist in the anti-imperialist and social justice movements; Dr. Zahi Damuni, co-founder of Al-Awda and long time human rights activist.
