Sunday, 2 p.m. 9/8/13
6801 Hollywood Blvd, Hollywood, CA,
We will rally on Sunday September 8th, the day before the U.S. congress returns from recess on Monday September 9th to debate military intervention in Syria. The event will take place at 2 PM at the intersection of Highland and Hollywood. There is a metrolink station at this location. Parking may be a challenge, so starting at Pershing Square and taking the metro red line may be preferable, and will only take a few minutes.
WHAT TO BRING:
If you can, please bring comfortable shoes, water, snacks, signs and a tent/sleeping gear. If you have any of these items to share please bring extras to share with others! CALLING ALL BIKERS to join the bike contingent.
NTENT:
We are peacefully protesting the escalation of US military involvement in Syria, as well as the complete disregard of the will of the American people in the decision to begin a new war. We in no way support the actions of the Assad regime, but are convinced that US intervention will instigate more violence and suffering.
