Summary of Exhibit:
Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi,
Martin Luther King, Jr., and Daisaku Ikeda, three men, from different cultures,
continents, and ages, dedicated their lives to saving and reviving the human
race. >From the non-violent movement for Indian independence led by Gandhi, to the courageous struggles for African-American
civil liberties led by King, to the championing of world-wide social harmony,
tolerance and awareness by Ikeda,
the Gandhi, King, Ikeda: A Legacy of Building Peace exhibit
provides our community the timely opportunity to break down
the artificial separation of people by skin color, belief systems and cultural traditions, linking
friends from diverse communities together toward a common dream.
