        “Who Are My People?” is a (1 hour) television documentary film on the current and controversial topic of the build out of large scale renewable energy in the deserts of the West.
The LA Times indicates, we are at a “Flashpoint” between competing value-systems. Bodies have been exhumed, and geoglyphs destroyed, in an area that is a long-term indigenous settlement.    “Who Are My People?” depicts how the world's energy firms like Solar Millennium, the German Solar Giant, have met their match in a small group of Native American elders, in the hottest desert on the planet.

          The film takes us behind the scenes of two of the largest solar projects in the world, "fast tracked" by US renewable energy policies.

[SDCPJ] Appreciation and Video of Today's Activist Press Conference at San Onofre!

I think today was the first time I've ever passed San Onofre on the freeway with a big smile on my face (instead of the usual cursing). Yes, lots more to do on this, but let's pause and savor this victory! This is huge for the people of Southern California and a shot in the arm for the anti-nuclear movement. A stunning victory! Southern California Edison is citing economic concerns, but it is people power that has kept the spotlight on this issue. Without our efforts, this plant would have been quietly restarted long ago. As we gained momentum, we were joined by more and more people, including elected officials who raised the issue to higher levels. Now on to the Decommission Process and dealing with nuclear waste issues. But first, everyone who has participated in this effort in any way should give themselves a huge pat on the back, because it is all of us working together that has held SCE's and the NRC's feet to the fire and kept the process transparent. Power to the people!

This was an event of truly epic proportions...imagine listening to the former Prime Minister of Japan during the Fukushima disaster describing what he was thinking and doing as this event, which would have implications for Japan and the world, unfolded and as he fully realized what this could mean for Japan's future as a nation.  Listen to his 180 degree turnabout to a position now that nuclear power cannot be controlled and that a worldwide network to end it must be formed.  Hear  Peter Bradford, former NRC chair during Three Mile Island describe how he would now like to see anyone making decisions during these crises to make their decisions as if their own loved ones and friends were the ones being impacted.  Former NRC chair Gregory Jaczko says that the plan to restart the darkened San Onofre nuclear plant at reduced power for safety reasons is "not one that instills tremendous confidence in me."  Nuclear expert Arnie Gunderson makes a stunning presentation and FOE campaigner Kendra Ulrich tellsit like it is ...and more...

One Palestinian child killed by Israel every 3 days for the past 13 years

1,518 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli occupation forces
from the outbreak of the second Intifada in September 2000 up to April 2013.
That's equivalent to one Palestinian child killed by Israel every 3 days for
almost 13 years. The number of Palestinian children injured by the Israelis
