Join us in the land of famously bizarre Joshua Trees reaching for the sky! California's drought seems to be easing, so this year we will camp overnight to explore the promise of wildflowers that most of us may never have seen.
This is an overnight tent camping trip, and participants must provide their own meals and camping equipment (tent, sleeping bag etc).

| Sierra Club Endorses SDSU West Initiative,
Opposes Soccer City
The Sierra Club announced this week that it has endorsed the San Diego State University (SDSU) West Initiative and will oppose a competing initiative, Soccer City. Both initiatives seek the redevelopment of the San Diego County Credit Union Stadium property in Mission Valley. The decision for both initiatives was unanimously supported by the Sierra Club's San Diego Chapter Steering and Conservation Committees. The Sierra Club is the oldest and most respected environmental organization in the United States. |

| Wanted Contractors - Builders Remodelers
The Foster Lodge committee is seeking bids from state liscened contractors, builders and remodelers for work on Foster Lodge facility at Mt. Laguna.
Projects include (bids may not be combined):
1. Repairs to Foster Lodge including a total remodel of kitchen, all flooring, 2 bathrooms and 2 showers.
2. Consrtuction of a single story bunk house cabin with porches (cabin - 1,102 SF, deck/stairs/ramp - 728 SF). |
