San Diego activists say “No funding for war and occupation in Afghanistan”
Protest December 2, 5-6 pm

Following President Obama's announcement of an escalation of the war on Afghanistan, the San Diego Coalition for Peace and Justice (SDCPJ) will hold a rally opposing the war and occupation. The rally will be held in front of Congressional Representative Susan Davis office on Wednesday, December 2, from 5-6 pm at University Avenue and Fairmount Avenue.
The demonstrators will call on Congress end funding for the wars and occupations in Afghanistan and Iraq.
In addition to an end for war funding, the SDCPJ rally centers on the demands for “Healthcare, jobs and education – No to war and occupation” and “US troops out of Afghanistan now – End the occupations of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Palestine”.
