And at the event, we'll memorialize Greg's mom (RIP),

Salon calls our film...
"A wild and woolly ride, peppered with moments of wry sardonic humor that would make Dashiell Hammett smile. There's so much more I'd love to tell you about what Palast dug up. But then I'd have to kill you. So you'll just have to see The Best Democracy Money Can Buy for yourself."

Greg Palast (Rolling Stone, Guardian, BBC) is the author of The New York Times bestsellers, The Best Democracy Money Can Buy and Billionaires & Ballot Bandits, now a feature length non-fiction movie.

Co-hosted by The Peace and Justice Graduate & Student Association at USD

END the CHOKE-HOLD in San Diego

'Choke-hold' is SDPD LEGAL in SD!...

but we are going to win this battle with your help!

RJC NEWS: Here's a sample from KUSI coverage of the Racial Justice Coalition's action May 25th:  http://www.kusi.com/sd-city-council-committee-holds-meeting-on-controversial-carotid-restraint/
The very exciting news from the meeting:  Council-member Gomez publicly announced her opposition to the choke-hold policy!
Please come out to our next RJC meeting on Sunday, May 6th at 2PM, it will be hosted by WWP.
If you have any doubt about how important our work on the choke-hold is take a look at this report I just saw today about the use of force police used against a Black man in Georgia:
