Hi everyone,

 

Folks from the local Kumeyaay tribe are headed up to Standing Rock this Saturday to bring up supplies and support the continuing resistance to the Dakota Access Pipeline. If you'd like to donate supplies or $ here's the info.

 

What's needed: Blankets, sleeping bags (winter in the midwest, not lightweight), canned food, and camping supplies. Cash is most helpful.

 

Where to donate: Barona Reservation, 2004 Akuunyaa way, Lakeside CA 92040, or Viejas Recreation Center on the Viejas Reservation, 1 Viejas Grade Road Alpine, California 91901. Unfortunately they do not have an online donation option.

p.s. we plan to hear from Chris & Paul from our group who were in Standing Rock at our next monthly meeting, on Oct 18, and hopefully also the young woman Gina Tiger-Madueno who took the funds we collected at our NoDAPL rally to purchase supplies for Standing Rock. Plan to come!
