[SDCPJ] Teach-In Monday, 7 pm, ASD, Invest in People; Divest From the Pentagon

There are many ways we pay for war, and many ways to divest.

If you work for peace, the environment, for affordable housing, for access to healthy food, and for animal rights, consider redirecting your taxes to your communities.

I am the regional war tax counselor and can help you develop your own way of investing in people, and divesting from the Pentagon.

sincerely

Communities around the world are resisting American militarism.

There are so many ways we pay for war while working for peace.
Join us in examining ways each of us can divest from the Pentagon and support resisters!
Anne Barron, a conscientious objector & war tax redirector, will facilitate the discussion.
Tax resistance is a form of direct action and if in violation of the tax regulations, a form of civil disobedience.
War Tax Redirection is the direct payment of your tax dollars to groups engaging in community building work.
