There is a work day scheduled at the San Diego Peace Garden this Saturday to support the work of Second Chance's Youth Program at the Peace Garden. The work day is from 9:00 - 1:00 PM. Tools, gloves, and snacks are provided. Appropriate dress and sun protection is recommended.
Second Chance is managing the vegetable gardens at the Peace Garden to support learning experiences and job training for at-risk youth. Its a really valuable program, and an excellent partnership for the Peace Garden!
