This lady was on the show Borderland. Even after her experience, she seemed anti immigrant. I used to share her views until I learned the true plight of immigrants...they are not immigrating, they are fleeing to this country. We need to look at a few facts:
This lady was on the show Borderland. Even after her experience, she seemed anti immigrant. I used to share her views until I learned the true plight of immigrants...they are not immigrating, they are fleeing to this country. We need to look at a few facts:
- People are only making $4 per day in their home countries due to NAFTA/ CAFTA and greedy US BASED companies..yet they are expected to pay THOUSANDS IN IMMIGRATION FEES
- Even if they could pay..the waiting list is 15 to 20 years long for processing.
- They have a choice, risk being raped, killed or starved or move on to a better life
- Many are dying in the desert (young kids, 50 year old women) nice people!
- We MUST change immigration policy!
