In a stunning move, broad British public opinion against military intervention in Syria forced Parliament to vote AGAINST military action.  We in the US have the possibility of broad public opinion achieving the same!  COME OUT on Saturday, Balboa Park, noon - see below.  Sign the petitions, notify Congress and the White House: NO attack on Syria!

I have just signed the petitions below.  Regardless of your position on Syria, I hope you agree that military intervention by the US is just about the worst idea.  All US interventions in the Middle East in the last 3 decades have proved disastrous, leading to the destruction of countries, the killing of hundreds of thousands of civilians and making the region much more chaotic.  If you agree with this, please make your voice heard.
