This was an event of truly epic proportions...imagine listening to the former Prime Minister of Japan during the Fukushima disaster describing what he was thinking and doing as this event, which would have implications for Japan and the world, unfolded and as he fully realized what this could mean for Japan's future as a nation. Listen to his 180 degree turnabout to a position now that nuclear power cannot be controlled and that a worldwide network to end it must be formed. Hear Peter Bradford, former NRC chair during Three Mile Island describe how he would now like to see anyone making decisions during these crises to make their decisions as if their own loved ones and friends were the ones being impacted. Former NRC chair Gregory Jaczko says that the plan to restart the darkened San Onofre nuclear plant at reduced power for safety reasons is "not one that instills tremendous confidence in me."
