The nuclear reactor catastrophes at Chernobyl, Three Mile Island, 

and now at Fukushima, Japan, remind us that a heinous specter 

continues to hover over the health and security of millions of 

people around the world... This film, by award-winning director 

Gary Null, deconstructs the corporate and political rhetoric 

feeding the media misinformation campaigns to seduce us into 

believing that low level radiation emitted from nuclear plants is 

perfectly safe and that our future depends on nuclear energy.

Daniel Hirsch is a Lecturer on Nuclear Policy and former Director of the

Stevenson Program on Nuclear Policy at UC Santa Cruz and President

of the Committee to Bridge the Gap, a 42-year-old organization

concerned about nuclear safety, proliferation, and waste. We are

honored to bring him to San Diego.
