[SDCPJ] Chalmers Johnson on Dismantling the Empire and how to do it

1. Chalmers Johnson died on November 20, 2010; this August 6th would have been his 80th birthday. Many of us have read his books and listened to him at programs and teach-ins organized by the anti-war/peace community. TomDispatch.com has re-issued the piece below written in 2009. It is as relevant today as we approach the 10th anniversary of 9/11 as it was when written:

"Three Good Reasons To Liquidate Our Empire
And Ten Steps to Take to Do So "

2. People may wish to know that a bench has been dedicated in Johnson's memory at the San Elijo Lagoon. Learn more about it in an article written by his wife, Sheila Johnson:

"San Elijo Lagoon and Us"

3. Sheila Johnson has also written a summary of their life together and a summary of Johnson's work at:

Remembering the Man and His Work"
