"Popular Education as a Methodology for Resistance is an exploratory workshop where participants will share their perspectives on current social issues and collectively establish the local state of the social justice movement and find common trends. Participants will also learn about two perspectives on popular education, Paulo Freire’s Pedagogy of the Oppressed and Claudio Naranjo’s Changing Education to Change the World, and will discuss ways the local struggles could benefit from adopting alternative education methodologies to increase community participation and create social change."  ~ Presenter: Jorge Glackman
