The San Diego Puppet Insurgency will be having their annual Art for Peace event on Sunday, December 6th from 10am -3pm at 1601 University Ave (2 blocks W of Park Blvd). ALL proceeds for this event go towards the SDCPJ's High School Leafletting Project which educates High School kids about alternatives to military service. This year's event will highlight Gregory Page and the Skavolutionary band for the musical groups. We will be selling handmade gifts and art and will provide street theater as well.
We are in need of PUPPETEERS who can commit to being at the event and could possibly attend a few practice sessions to prepare for the Street Theater-type Puppet Shows. Just one or two lines will all that you will need to memorize, if that.
So if you've ever had the desire to be a Street performer, a Puppeteer, or just want to help out.... PLEASE help US out.
