Critical dates to note regarding our Public Access Shows:

The Shows air on Sundays at 6PM on COX 18 in North County and 23 in Southern San Diego.

Opportunities for training and interviews exist at all shows.

You can train to be:

Camera Operators

Floor Director

Assistant Director

Web Cast Director

Character Generator

Sound Engineer

Producer

We need 40 more people to attend the training to ensure deep support of our shows.

The objective is for everyone to get their own show eventually. We will mutually support each other.

All trainings are free!

They are held at the COX Communications Studios in El Cajon (You must call me personally to RSVP)

28 October 2008 - Producer Training Reservation Date

YOU MUST CALL ON THIS DATE TO RESERVE YOUR SEAT IN PRODUCER CERTIFICATION TRAINING TO BE HELD:

7 November 2008 6 PM to 10 PM

8 November 2008 8 AM to 4 PM

1. You must live in the COX Service area.

2. You must produce a utility bill upon registration to prove address.

3. YOU MUST CALL 619-596-3292 ON THE 28TH AND LEAVE A MESSAGE INDICATING YOUR NAME, ADDRESS, PHONE NUMBER.

Be sure to indicate that you intend to attend the producer training in November.

This will allow you to have your own show at some point. We want to establish as many progressive shows as possible in this area.

29 and 30 October 2008 6 PM to 10 PM - Advanced Film Editing Class - For those of us who want to learn the technical aspects of film editing.

It is very helpful if you are a producer with no one to edit your shows. Only 4 spots left.
