During the Democratic National Convention, candidates Barack Obama and Joe Biden made it clear that if elected, they would escalate the War in Afghanistan which has devastated that nation nearly 7 years. Despite the rhetoric about hunting down terrorists in caves and liberating Afghani women, the reality is that attacks on Afghani people don't make us safer. Join the ISO as we revisit the arguments against the invasion of Afghanistan and evaluate who really benefits from another imperialist war in the Middle East.
