Thank you for your commitment to support immigrants' rights in the region and for your work to inform your fellow community members on their rights. As we enter the holiday season, we cannot lose focus from protecting individuals and families who are living in anxiety and fear with the end of the DACA program and of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for some.
You're invited to join us at the launch of the San Diego Rapid Response Network next Tuesday, the 19th! We have been hard at work developing this network with our community partners and we're excited to launch this month.
The San Diego Rapid Response Network (SDRRN) is an interconnected system of organizations and individuals working together to respond to dehumanizing immigration enforcement activities including checkpoints, raids, arrests and harassment, occurring in San Diego County.
SDRRN maintains a 24-hour hotline to document such occurrences, provide emergency assistance, and connect affected people with resources because NO ONE STANDS ALONE IN OUR COMMUNITY.
Leaders from 40+ organizations and a cadre of community volunteers are committed to supporting this important effort and are joining together on Tuesday, December 19th from 6-8 p.m. at St. Jude's – Parish Hall (3785 Boston Ave., San Diego, CA 92113) to announce the launch of the SDRRN, explain how community members can utilize the hotline, and support the efforts of the Network. Please join us for the SDRRN launch.
When: Tuesday, December 19th from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Where: Saint Jude Shrine of the West - 3785 Boston Ave, San Diego, CA 92113 (There is some parking available at St. Jude, and street parking is available as well)
Tell us you're 'Going' on Facebook and share with your friends and neighbors
If you have any questions, please email organizing@aclusandiego.org or call 619-398-4188. Thank you!

Dónde: Saint Jude Shrine of the West - 3785 Boston Ave, San Diego, CA 92113 (Hay estacionamiento limitado en la iglesia.
