The reason for this tour is essentially to spread the word about the Venus Project and the Zeitgeist Movement. The success of the world tour will also help them maintain and work from the research center in Venus, Florida. The Venus Project envisions a global civilization where the methods of science and technology are applied with human and environmental concern so as to secure, protect, and encourage a more humane world for all people. Jacque and Roxanne will present the redesign or our culture offering a possible way out of our recurring cycles of boom and recession, famine, poverty, a declining environment, and territorial conflicts where peace is merely the interval between wars. The lectures are a challenge to all people to work toward a society in which all the world's resources become the common heritage of all the world's people in a resource-based economy. The Venus Project is an organization offering feasible plans for social change one that could attain a peaceful and sustainable global civilization.
